Michigan State track & field competed in its first meet of the 2017-18 season on Friday afternoon at the Grand Valley State Holiday Open held at the Kelly Family Turf Building in Allendale, Michigan. Five Spartan sprinters, jumpers and throwers earned first-place finishes, and MSU claimed 51 top-10 finishes to start the season off strong.
