The men's cross country team captured its first Great Lakes Regional Championship, finishing as the best team in the region with 68 points on Friday at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course in Terre Haute, Indiana. On the women's side, the team raced to a second-place finish with 87 points, upsetting regionally-ranked No. 2 Wisconsin. Both teams earned automatic bids to NCAA Championships on Saturday, Nov. 18 in Louisville, Kentucky.
