Heath Baldwin, a graduate student-athlete at Michigan State, placed second in the men's elite decathlon with a lifetime-best 8,470 points at the 64th Mt. SAC Relays Presented by Nike at Hilmer Lodge Stadium in Walnut, Calif. Baldwin won the high jump with a 6-9.50 (2.07m) clearance, helping him elevate to the No. 7 all-time collegiate competitor. Baldwin improved from his 8,084-point effort from last year's Mt. SAC Relays.
